Does Your Client Need Exposure Therapy?

This event will cover key aspects of assessing and treating anxiety disorders and OCD. It highlights diagnostic criteria, while differentiating between OCD and various anxiety disorders. It will address recognizing high-acuity and pervasive cases, knowing when to refer clients to higher levels of care, and the role of exposure therapy. It explores the importance of family involvement and psychoeducation to improve treatment outcomes.

As Program Director at the OCD Anxiety Centers Federal Way location, Andrew brings over a decade of clinical expertise in treating anxiety disorders with trauma-informed, evidence-based care. A Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Child Mental Health Specialist, he has a strong background in supporting children and families through complex trauma, neurodivergent young adults, and LGBTQIA+ advocacy. Andrew’s commitment to empathy and resilience stems from his early work with housing initiatives for struggling families. OCD Anxiety Centers is now actively accepting clients in the Greater Seattle area and delivering high-quality, accessible support both virtually and in person.
